For the Christening of my youngest grandchild I needed something appropriate to wear, so I sewed this emerald peplum-top. The fabric is a shiny satin, I had in my stash. On the photos the top looks much brighter than it is. The sun gave us a lot of light when my husband took the photos.
On the Christening-day in March we had only 3 centigrades (less than 40 F) in that medieval church!
I wore black trousers, a warm coat and boots, nobody could see my nice top.
