My first embroidery ever. It’s a medium sized make-up/organizer/etc. bag for my mother. Actually, I was just supposed to be practicing embroidery on the canvas as I’d just read a how-to on some stitching, but it looked kind of nice, so I made it into this little bag for my lovely moms. :)
Oh, and I got the embroidery idea from Alicia Paulson. I liked the look of her simple embroidery and sketched something very similar onto my canvas to make this.

canvas, thread, zipper, purple cotton fabric (leftover from the twirly skirt I made!)
