This lovely cashmere sweater was found at a local thrift shop. It was a classic turtle neck.
I was inspired by Grosgrains (http://grosgrainfabulous.blogspot.com) month of embellished sweater. The sweater was shortened and turned it into a cardigan. I finished the edges with the serger to create the ruffled look. The flowers are created out of linen yo-yos, the stem is embroidered and the leaves are felted wool.
Very quick and rewarding project, now if it would only be cold enough in Texas to wear.
