I found a bunch of cardigans on my last trip to the thrift store, many of them in perfect condition. Here’s the first one I worked on. I created the flowers/circles from layers of duponi silk cut from a dress also found while thrifting. I sewed a cluster of seed beads in the center of each of the flowers. I like the way this turned out and wish it were my size. I love the idea of turning used unwanted clothes into something fresh with new life.
