My first garment with sleeves. I thought it would be great for summer. I also added the elastic to go all around. The sleeves were shortened to go just above the wrist. The bias binding on the neckline I made from some elastic cotton fabric scraps.
For future versions, I would change the neckline (to either V or rounded) and do away with the front center seam.
I will also need to add a little more ease to the back piece.
I would also recommend to leave slits in the side seams, for better comfort.
Cotton with embroidery border. Elastic band (0,5 cm).

Lovely! I’ve never tried to make anything with that embroidered-edge fabric- did it come hemmed or do you have to hem underneath it yourself?
It does look like it will be lovely and cool for summer.
