This is an adaptation of a shirt held in the collection of the Victoria & Albert museum, London.
The original shirt of made from hand finished panels of fine linen with five different patterns of lace. Mine is a fine cotton calico with Cluny style vintage lace from the 1970's. I made fewer chevrons on the front and sleeves on my adaptation.
