Dress from the last Burda edition. Very nice for full figure and very complicated to make. It has 22 parts!

Do you recall using all 2.5 yards of fabric? I have only 2 yards of a fabric I have in mind…

I used 2,5 meters, which is even more than 2,5 yards. But I wasn’t very economic when cutting. And second – this is 2 layers dress, you can use some other jersey for lining part and then your 2 yards is enough.

I posted to another’s who made this. I am in the process and have to say that more daunting than the 22 pieces is lack of instructions. A simple diagram with what pieces go where (numbers not just descriptions) is helping me a lot for my second try. I recommend you make a sample garment out of cheap fabric first. My final one is going to use much less of my expensive fabric since you use almost half the fabric in a way it will never be seen. Great admiration to you for this wonderful effort and beautiful results.

I agree, I had to print out the instructions and label each part on the diagram.

Great dress! It fits you like a glove! This particular hairstyle goes so well with the look ;) I’ve just bought 2 jersey prints to make the same dress.
