Description
I planned to make some well suited classic jacket and landed with green, sexy lady suit – very not classic. But I like it – green wool is very nice and the peplum looks great. Everything is finished with darker green piping.

Really love the tailored look of this suit very versatile you could dress it up or down depending on the event or situation. You did an outstanding job, I like you have curves and it is rare to find a sillohette that compliments my assests without being over the top, you could add a pair of slacks to the suit and really get several looks from the one pattern could you tell me if this is one pattern or two? Thank you so much for sharing .

I actually never wear trousers, but I think you’re right, it may look good with pants too. And I tend to wear the suit only like that – skirt and jacket together, I must totally try to mix it with other things.
About the pattern – you mean if the whole suit is one pattern? No, the jacket is pattern 113 from Burda 11/1995, and the skirt is the simplest pattern 128 from Burda 02/2009.

gorgeous. well done tailoring. Reminds me of Rita Hayworth’s suit in the movie, ‘Gilda.’ Or, Lauren Bacall’s suits.

The fitting is what I love about the self tailored clothes. With my non-standard curves I had hard time finding anything that was really my size.
