A dress in the style of Lord of the Rings. This was a fun alteration challenge. I had to lengthen the dress 3 inches above my waist because I’m extremely long torso-ed. I also had to cut the front panels in a smaller size than the side panels to accommodate my pear shaped body. I required two sizes smaller in the chest than in the hips. It was a fun challenge! I made view C without the collar pleating and bows. The cloak is from a different pattern.

gorgeous! I’d love to have something like this. Don’t know where I’d wear it, but I still want one! It looks like it took a lot of work.

It looks nice! I love the Lord of the Rings costumes so much…. I actually have one in almost the same colors you did, but more similar to one of Eowyn’s than Arwen’s. I’ll definitely be checking back for an action shot!
