Description

Its called the Elephant Shorts because I had to make a pair of shorts to fit my post-preggy elephant thighs. It is my first attempt making one. It took forever because I was unpicking most of the time. :P I traced the pattern from an existing pair of shorts, then made the adjustment. There ’s A LOT of room for improvement, but I am kinda pleased with it being the first attempt.

Material Notes

On hindsight, I should have used a slightly thicker and firmer fabric which would have been easier for a novice like me.

I would be pleased also! The garments which take the longest are usually the most rewarding… in terms of learning. even though they are frustrating MOST of the time. Good work!

WOW I love this. I never attempt shorts or trousers, but I am inspired. Pockets too! Is the zip at the back or the front?

It’s at the back. I used centre zip. On hindsight, I should have sewed the zip in front or use an invisible zip .
