Description
I used Simplicity 6934 because of the bodice design. I had an election t-shirt that was too tight over my bust line, so I cut it up and used reclaimed Ikea sheets for the rest of the dress fabric. I discovered that this dress pattern is genius for preserving fun t-shirts that I don’t want to lose! It was also a unique way to participate in my local political party events, but not have to look like everyone else. The dress itself is super comfortable and very flattering. I look forward to making another one later this year, but I’ll use regular material for it.
Material Notes
I upcycled a t-shirt and old sheets from Ikea.

Thank you!! :) I’m looking at some other old t-shirts and seeing if I can upcycle those, too.
