I have been meaning to do this for AGES and I have got a break in my assignments at the moment so I decided to finally do this project.
I picked up the wool for about 50c to $1 a piece as they were just little scraps but the right size for elbow pads (and kept this as a fairly cheap project). I also got a awl to make the holes for the needle.
It was definitely worth taking my time (so I didn’t sew the lining together) and I could have made my needle holes more even – but it turned out fine in my opinion.
