Elasticated waist belt

Added Apr 4, 2010

I made this waist belt with a length of 3" black elastic I had in my collection and a silver clasp that I ordered from ebay. I bought the flowers in an accessories shop. It can be worn either plain or with the flowers to dress it up.

Material Notes

Black 3" elastic. Silver clasp. Corsages.

Ive been looking for a clasp like that for so long, to make just the same type of belt. How did you search it on ebay (i.e. what is it actually called? when i search belt clasp, i only find belts and not the actual clasp itself)

Hi Natalia! I searched under belt clasp – I had the same problem as you it is mostly belts with clasps but there is a few people selling just clasps. If that fails you should see if you can pick up a cheap belt and take the clasp off that and reuse it.
