Description

another souvenir from the latest trip out. As my last skirt turned out so lovely, I decided to use this material in the same way. Because I’d only just used this pattern, I thought it’d be quick and easy, wasn’t paying too much attention and promptly forgot that the back had to be cut in 2 parts allowing space for a zipper and instead cut the fabric on the fold, oops :-( Still, I managed to add a zip and make it looks halfway decent and I had enough material left over for a little top (which I haven’t photographed yet)

Material Notes

cotton, zip, lining

Chula is lovely. You look very chic! I recognised the house in the sky! I love that area of Suffolk.

thank you Luz! “The house in the sky” is the perfect name for this building; I just had to take a picture of it, so different isn’t it?
This was my first time to that area and what a lovely trip it was. Even though I couldn’t find a fabric shop, got some fresh fish instead :-))

Did you buy from the beach at Alderburgh? Superb fish and chip shops!

thank you Mary ! It is some unusual fabric and like always, I couldn’t resist. Like I said, managed a top out of it as well, but it hasn’t been warm enough yet to wear it :-((
The photos were taken on one of our recent trips to Aldeburgh, a lovely seaside town in Suffolk, very pretty ! xx
