Description

I made this mummy costume for a town festival the theme was “The Nile”. I took a pillow case and sewed muslin strips to it, added pleats to make it more fitted, added a zipper on the side, used ribbon to make the front details, added snaps to the back to adjust the straps accordingly…it can either be a dress or a high waisted skirt ( i wore it as a high waisted skirt). part of the ribbon was attached to muslin strips to tie around my neck and head. I am also going to make a top for underneath when I have a chance. There will be more photos to come, sorry these weren’t the best I had to take them myself.
