Though you should be warned that I was between sizes in the hips and sized down but eliminated the pockets because I didn’t want it to be bulky (and I envision this dress with a clutch)! I think if I had sized up it would have been really ill fitting.

I’ve been wanting to make this since I got the magazine last week. Now I really, really want make it! Did you put pockets in yours in the end? I can’t decide whether I’m going to or not.

I did away with the pockets. I put them in at first but because I am between sizes at the hips and had sized down, I later took them out because of the bulk.

Is this dress 111B from May 2011 Magazine? If it is you have made it beautifully. Great fabric choice. On first glance I didn’t think this dress was at all flattering. Yours is a far better rendition!
