The fabric pretty much inspired this dress, it just seemed so perfectly art nouveau (made me think of this building particularly http://bit.ly/12EIUHc). I cut back the fabric along the selvedge to use the scalloped edge of the embroidery as the hem and for the yoke. It fastens down the back with buttons and thread chain button loops. Pattern drafted by me.
