Pattern- dress I from Happy Homemade vol.5
Fabric- Liberty’s Edenham
I made the largest size (130). I had made the shorts from this book in the same size for her and they just fit so thought the dress would be the same, nope it’s big! She didn’t want the sleeves, i tacked one in and had her try it on, so instead i just bound the edges using a self bias binding. I could have shortened it but i loath to waste that beautiful Liberty fabric. Being slightly large on her has it’s advantages though, it’s a good cover-up for in the sun but still light and floaty. Plus it should fit her next summer too (if she doesn’t continue growing at the rate she is!)
