A straight skirt where the pattern was made from my own measurements onto newspaper. A waistcoat version of the top used in previous projects ( see Peasant skirts) And a jumper bought in the market !
Skirt is in pure wool dog- tooth check - bought as a remnant in Charity shop for 59p.Lined with recycled skirt lining. Notions I have at home. Waistcoat pattern from a top pattern used before ( the pattern came originally from a Charity shop for 20p ). Waistcoat in polyester crepe - a remnant just over 1m costing £2 ( self lined ) and six buttons @ 56p - - -So really an economy outfit !
