Description

The bamboo knit top is based on one of my favorite patterns from Burda. The cotton-bamboo poplin pants are based on Model no. 125 from Burda WOF 06/2008. I really am not a fan of these pants. High waist line and very large legs with that pleat in front, will not sew it again…

Material Notes

bamboo knit for top, cotton/bamboo for trousers, zipper, ribbons, wood buttons

I love your work! Neat details and lovely labels! Must have taken lots of time to do.

Ditto completely the previous 2 comments! I made these pants, too. I agree with you about the leg width; though I am so long waisted I don’t mind the higher waist on the pants – it makes my legs look longer. Yours look very nice on you. I really like the style of the top, too. Very nice outfit and beautifully crafted!

Both of your garments look great. I love how finished the seams look on the inside of the clothes, very professional-looking.

Oh those pants are not only very well constructed, they look great on you! I too am not a fan of the high waisted look and I really shy away from the busy around the thigh styles; however, you have definitely pulled it off. Very elegant look and kudos!
