Here’s my party dress for our Tessuti Melbourne Christmas party.
I chose Italian 100% Cotton Eclectic Pink to make up and I needed something quick, simple and comfy to wear on a hot night, so i chose old favourite McCalls 5578.
I simply love this print. I took inspiration from one of my favourite Aussie labels Gorman.
Printed cotton lawn, thread, buttons, interfacing

I’ve decided to start my version of this dress today! I just have one question, did you decide to leave the cuffs off?

You chose a great pattern for such beautiful fabric. I think it is so important to have a simple style when using such an interesting patterned fabric. You look great in your lovely dress. Next time I am in Sydney or Melbourne, I plan to come to Tessuti for a little fabric shopping spree. Online fabric shopping isn’t the same as being able to touch the fabric in a shop!!
