This gorgeous Echino linen needed only the simplest of silhouettes to showcase its beauty.
The fabric is also a little stiff, so I couldn’t do draping things or fitted things to it.
I used my tried-and-tested shift pattern, and bound the armholes and neckline in hot pink cotton to pick out the berries. I don’t usually buy binding since it’s so expensive, and so easy to make myself, but I figured it was worth it for this fabric.
I’m very happy with the dress :) and I think I feel an Echino addiction coming on!
My sweet hubs set up this shot at a tiny piece of wild grassland near our home.
