Description

not sure I’d call it an easy project, but after overcoming a few obstacles, one of which included sewing the hem together :-( I managed to finish it and am actually pleased with the outcome. I used a jersey and am happy with that but maybe a light wool material as suggested, might drape nicer?

Material Notes

jersey

Well, I think it is for a beginner who knows how to deal with strechy fabric, has special needles (included double needle for jersey), moreover knows how to insert sleeves (without mistaken them). Anyway, I didn’t found this particularly diffcicult, but honestly speaking I expected something easier from a project highlighted as “Easy”. I will post the pictures of my version in these days. The only modification I made was to shorten the sleeves. Ciao.

Incredible, is it from 11/2011 Burda? I am finishing mine right now. I like the colour and drape.

yes it is ! not convinded about this being a beginner’s project though, what do you think?Am looking forward to seeing yours !!!
(And looking at it now, I should have placed the front bit a bit lower for a better drape)
