I paid for tuition and then realized that work forgot to pay me… of course when I’m broke all I want are new clothes. While window shopping I saw a dress of this sort and decided it would be easy to make myself, and lo and behold it was! It is made from a stretchy velvet with a Picasso-esque print that I’ve had tucked away for a while, and the result is a super comfortable, and I must say, quite flattering. The only qualm I have with it is that it is quite low both in the front and back so I have been wearing it with a black tube dress underneath.

Material Notes

Stretchy velvet print

I love this style and I’m diggin your choice in fabrics. I’m a sucker for velevet anything -it’s just sooo luxurious lol ;) Great look! I’m looking forward to the tutorial/pattern or whatever. I’d love to add something like this to my own wardrobe.

looks awesome!!!! I, too, would LOVE a how-to. I’m pregnant and it looks like it would work as a maternity dress as well
