Made this from this mccall pattern: Mccall 6240 http://sewing.patternreview.com/Patterns/43062
I saw some metallic gold material and thought it might be good for this dress. I am probably between 0 and 2, the pattern is for size 4, so i made several modifications. I don’t know much about sizing so I was pretty much just doing it randomly. for example, I made the diagonal stretch a little tighter so I wouldn’t have to worry about exposing too much; I made the sleeves a little bit smaller and the waist tighter. But the style of the dress was good and easy overall.
Next time, I would use even more stretchy, drapey material for this pattern.
This took me (currently novice) 3 hours to complete.
Pattern calls for knit jerseys. I actually used partial knit jersey, partial rayon metallic material. Which is a little stretchy but not drapey enough for this dress.
