Description

I found this pattern in a Scandinavian sewing Magazine 06.2012. I have used viscose jersey and chiffon in dobble layer around the neck, sleeves and the hem. Since the neck was a bit loose I decided to use a very thin rubberband, and then the dress became nicer ;)

Material Notes

Viscose jersey and chiffon.

I think it’s a very universal dress: can be used both as a dress and as a tunic and I think if to wear trousers, it will look too as well as with a long-sleeved top underneath. I lke such things that are easy to combine with other thinds. Wonderful colours as always.

Clever Improviso Ellen. Love it. This a part of sewing I love, when you can start with a design and finish it with your own touch.

This dress is simply perfect, Ellen :) I love the pattern, print, colours – everything. And I think the rubber band you added is a great solution. The fit is now perfect. Again one of my favourites among your projects :)

Oh, that’s nice to hear Anjovis – thank you very much for such lovely comments! I have tried rubberband before if I had a dress or shirt with a wide neck, so it could be a good solution :)
