This is my attempt at a pleated skirt with contrasting waistband. There is a zipper at the back & there are 2 gold buttons attached to the centre of the waistband that have small anchors etched on!
This is so easy to make too, perfect if you have nothing to wear and you can make this up in a couple of hours.

Really cute. Thanks for the inspiration. I have a piece of floral and this looks like the skirt it should be!

You did a fantastic job on your pleated skirt; I could see both my daughters wearing it! My question is, is there a download for the pattern somewhere???? Thanks!

I didn’t use a pattern for this. I just measured my waist (take into account about 1.5cm seam allowance) then I cut 2 rectangles of fabric (about 45cm wide X whatever length you want). Sew up one side so you have 90cm of fabric to play with by making pleats. Obviously you can decrease the amount if you want less pleats. Then I added a zipper at the centre back! Hope this makes sense?!
If not I’m sure that there is a downloadable pattern on here somewhere!
