Easy to sew takes no time at all. Perfect for work, or can be teamed up nicely with a pair of skinny jeans and heels.I used a black oriental style cotton material from the bargain bin at the local fabric store for £4.00 .

Material Notes

The pattern recommends about 3 yrds of material you don’t need any where near this much.

I like this pattern with or without the cap sleeves. Nice choice of fabric. I agree 3 yards does seem a lot of fabric, maybe that’s for the dress length version.

Thanks! The only thing I did different with the sleeves are I did not cut them as recommended I left them quite square for a bit of a different style, also used some iron on interfacing to keep the shape. 3 yrds could be for the dress never thought of that. For the top I have around 1.5 meters left of this fabric so if you were to make it I’d say 1.5-2 meters is plenty! Happy sewing! This pattern is only about 1.80 or so when converted to pounds from dollars
