My sweet sister mailed some very inspirational fabrics to me about a year ago. I sat them on the top of my pile to wait for them to speak to me. This lovely floral print screamed easter dress! Being so far from the states, easter bonnets, little white gloves, and fava shoes, I knew I needed to make myself an easter dress!
I bought the bluish roughly woven cotton from my fabric ladies. I used the jj pattern but inserted a ruffle up the front and down the back seam. I trimmed it into the shape I wanted then hand rolled hemmed it… The ruffle felt too big until I took some pictures… I like the whimsy! :)
printed Betsy cotton, sheer cotton, and black ribbon from Grammy!
