My mum asked if I could make her a cover for her e-reader for her birthday. Which was in December. Better late than never?
I had an idea of what I wanted it to look like and just started cutting (bad, I know) But it worked out perfectly! There were a couple bumps along the way and I became reaquainted with my stitch ripper but I am really happy with how it turned out. My mum loves it, which is all that really matters.
Cheers!
Cotton Quilting Fabric, 1/4inch quilt batting, two hair elastics, two buttons, stitch ripper, will power.

Nice job! And I know what you mean, I have made the “just-start-cutting” mistake plenty of times myself. :)

Nice design! Love how you’ve done the fastening at the front.
