I used a Burda magazine pattern from May 2006 designed by DVF. I love the way the dress wraps my body. It’s comfy yet flattering. The sleeves happened to be a bit too short as I didn’t add any seam allowance. Next time, I will make the sleeves longer like in the original picture. It seems like that’s a part of the design.

Oh, I know that pattern – really lovely dress. You might add vented cuffs to the sleeves in order to lengthen them? Take a look at this tutorial on vented cuffs. Coincidently, the lady who made the tutorial was sewing the DVF wrap dress, too :)

I love it! It looks very neat and polished, but I can tell it’s probably very comfortable… my favorite combination in a dress. :)
