Description

My dress is based on the Drop Waist Dress with Sash 04/2015 #104.

Aside from personal fitting adjustments, the only alteration I made was to the hip sash. I folded it in half, and stitched it together so that the edges would be enclosed. I also angled the ends of the hip sash to repeat the shape from the bodice bow.

Thank you. I really like animal prints; and I love color. It is so light and airy to wear.

Thank you Olga. The fun thing about this fabric is it is light and soft. Great for summer in humid Florida, lol.

Very cute with a dash of pep from the animal print you chose. I wondered if this dress wasn’t going to be too twee when made up, but you’ve reassured me that it is very feminine and fun for a sunny day on the lawn. Perfect!

      Thank you Inkstain1 :-)

Noticed your interest in vintage. Will see if I can find the Facebook group. Love how this pattern has a very 20’s feel. And yes, the leopard makes it fun and funky.

As a side note, what does “twee” mean?
