My boyfriend was cleaning out his closet and happened upon this lovely shirt. It had a hole in it, and he was going to throw the poor thing in the trash lest I rescue it. So I did. This is the result. Oh and I added some old denim scraps from a jeans-to-shorts party I had earlier in the summer. I love this thing. It was my first time working with darts on a bust and I didn’t use a pattern. It turned out nicely and I am able to wear long sleeve shirts underneath it for colder climates.
Dress up outerwear with deep shawl collars and sew up a lovely fitted dress with a flounced hemline.
