This dress (made for myself – I’m on the left side of this photo) was whipped up rather quickly for a wedding I attended this past Halloween. I used a custom bodice pattern I have for myself and just altered the front neckline and made a more flared skirt to create this look. I wanted it to look kind of like a short-sleeved dress/coat.

One question though… Where on earth are you in this picture? The background looks like giant internal organs!!

Haha! You’re right, it’s a giant model of a heart that people can walk through; the wedding took place at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, a museum dedicated to science.
