I have been working with some techniques from the Pattern Magic book. I decided to take a simple dress and put a drop hole in it. I used the contour bust pattern for the top and drafted a circle skirt for the bottom. I added mirrors to accentuate the hole. I would use stiffer fabric next time….
Some old polyester (I think) that I found on Craigs list.

Love it! Pocket full of mirrors – how whimsical! :-)
But the million dollar question is where are you going to wear this to? Don’t let it hide in the closet!
