Description

This was a fun project and I really like the dress pattern! The parts were supposed to sew together, but I wanna have them separate then I can easily use the top together with pants as well. The dress can be used both ways, but in the pattern the lower neck should be in back, but when I use it without the top I will prefer to use the lower neck in front. Since it’s navy blue it’s classic and very wearable for any occasion :)

You have such nice projects Ellen. I’m inspired to get back to the sewing room.. The idea of separates is more appealing to me. I like pattern a lot & its very easy to wear.

I didn’t see this issue but I like what you made very much. I agree with all of your epithets: it is fun, it is wearable, it is classic:-)) I also would like to add that this combination corresponds your style – combination of comfort, elegance and playful dare:-) Great look!

That’s nice to hear ;) I’m looking forward to see your blouse. Since the fabric I used for the top is light weight I added a tiny rubber band in the seam of the back cowl neck so it should stay nice.
