This skirt started life out as a dress that just didnt work for em at all. So with some cutting and nipping and adjustments to the length it made its way into being a skirt instead. I lined this in polyester lining and edged the hem inside with bias binding and hand slip stitched the hem.
Not sure what the fabric is, i bought this in Mood fabrics in NY on my first visit to NY 4 years ago. I wanted to use it to make a dress but the dress didnt work so it got reinvented as a skirt. The top of the dress ended up as a tunic top as i couldnt bear to waste the fabric i loved it so much.
