Supplies:
1 loose-fitting dress shirt
Step 1: Mark the part of the sleeves where you would like the openings to be.
Step 2: Add 1/2″ (1.3 cm) seam allowance to those marks.
Step 3: Cut out the marked parts of the sleeve.
Step 4: Fold in 1/4″ (0.6 cm) of the marked seam allowance, then press.
Step 5: Fold back another 1/4″ (0.6 cm) and press.
Step 6: Pin in place.
Step 7: Edge stitch to get a clean finish. To prevent stretching, be careful not to pull the fabric as you are sewing along the cutout sleeve parts.
