After seeing a few great project over the internet I decided to give a try to the book "zelfgemaakte kleertjes "from C. Deweerdt . The book is in dutch. There are a few beautiful dresses for little girls that I really love in this book..
I started with the Leila dress. Lisa ( my daughter ) is a little between sizes so I was not sure about what size should I cut. I went with size 2 years and I think that that is just good for now.
The patterns have a 75 mm seam allowance , so that was easy.
A very easy project. The instructions are easy to follow, Next time I will finish the armholes different. In the book they put you to finish the armholes and than sew the side seams , but I will do next time the other way around for to get a nicer finish under the arm.
I am very pleased with the dress, Lisa is also :)
The results are in! Check out our winning submission.
