Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This was based on New Look 6457 A. The fabric I used was from the Dolce collection as designed by Tanya Whelan – I love the colours and the birds :) I wore it to the horseracing at the Ascot on a lovely day!
I liked the pattern although the size wasn’t exactly accurate (unless I did something wrong…) so there was a lot of unpicking and re-sewing going on! but we got there in the end!
The original pattern should have straps but when it was done I didn’t quite like how wide the straps were and preferred it to be worn strapless. So I have not sewn them to the front and have simply tied it at the back for now.
