I made this dress for my mom when I discovered she did not own a cute cotton sundress! Oh no! So I got to work after asking her what design she would like and came up with this. To draft the sleeves, I sewed the two bodice pieces together at the shoulder, then I used the armhole curve they formed as my sleeve curve. I drew a straight line across the armhole, not at the bottom but somewhere in the middle, if that makes sense. Maybe one of these days I’ll get around to posting a technique on it…I’ll be remaking this dress sometime soon for myself because I like the finished product so much!
Medium weight cotton.
