Description

I would be lying if I would say that this is my first dress made by myself. It’s probably third, but after very long non-sewing period. So it feels for me like the first one. And for now, definitely most favorite of all my dresses.

Lightweight dress fabric (140 cm width, 250 cm length), invisible zip 60 cm long and 8 buttons

    I might try this dress for autumn if I don’t get around to it now. At the moment I cannot decide which pattern, which fabric, which style … so maybe it’s better to leave the scissors untouched ;)) best wishes

      thanks! ;) um, to be honest I don’t know exactly how this fabric is called, but it’s something very close to light-weight crepe.

    May I ask how tall you are? I’ve got the pattern and I’d love to make it too but at 160 cm I always seem to get ‘swept up’ in wide dresses.

      I am also not so tall, only 8 cm taller than you, so I guess the dress would look similar on you ;) I also made some adjustments, around the waist it was too wide for me.

      thank you, Hanneke, nice to here from you! Sorry but my dutch is not so good. I came to Amsterdam for my studies year and a half ago. And picture was made just outside the place where I live, in science park, it’s in Amsterdam Oost :)
