Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This dress is made from recycled hems of t-shirts the bodice is 10 inches long and each band is 4 inches wide plus seam allowances. I serged the top of each band and then overlapped the hem and used the straight stretch stitch to join everything together and side invisible zip. This dress was made for a fashion show during SXSW and will be shot next week for a conceptual ad for a national brand (will keep my fingers crossed and keep you posted).
