Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I had the desire for a purple dress in my closet, I thought about it constantly since I made a fascinator in the same color and painted my tights with a bouquet of lavender (you can find a tutorial on this in my page). So I thought it was time to build up this dress to get the outfit. The pattern of it is based on the pattern of Burdastyle May / 2011, # 128. Although I made some alterations in the back of the pattern to achieve a smooth back, without folds. I wanted to add a light touch to the dress, so I opted to cut the collar in white cotton cloth to paint a few sprigs of lavender and stitch them later, so the dress is added to the design of lavender, present in the other two component parts of the outfit (fascinator and tights).Material Notes
Poly-wool, some cotton for collar, embroidery thread, paints textiles, invisible zipper.
