I actually made this dress last summer but never got round to taking photos of it despite many many opportunities.
It’s based on the descriptively named burda pattern dress with gathered rectangle skirt and cap sleeves or something, but as with others I had to make drastic adjustments to remove the gaping neckline.

Your dress is lovely and I hope warm, sunny days come soon to you, so you can wear it often. I too made this dress and only last week, I completely unpicked it and remade the whole dress due to the gaping dress getting worse as it hung on a hanger. I lifted the shoulder seams 1cm, then piped the neck and armhole edges, slightly pulling in the piping as I went. And I pleated the skirt to sit flat, which I think was more flattering for my body shape. I got these ideas form another member and I am so much happier with this dress.
