Drawstring Jersey

Added Sep 11, 2009

Bridgeport, Conn...

This is a shorter version of nayantara’s jumper dress. I mad it quickly this summer and spent a lot of time on the drawstrings. I later realized how much I hated the drawstrings but loved the yellow with the fabric (I used yellow thread that was already in my overlocker when I started the project, happy accident.) I decided to swap out the drawstrings with some neon yellow elastic double and looped together. I love this super easy top now! it was so comfy on the scorching (non-windy) summer days!

Material Notes

rayon/cotton jersey i’d guess

Garment Type

Thank you Sammy09! I just wish it was warmer this summer so I could have gotten a little more wear out of it! I definitely will next summer!!

And gillthecat- Its actually not quite a rectangle I followed nayantara’s jumper dress how to to make it. I think her method gave a really nice drape without it being too bunched up at the neck
