New York, New Yo...
The skirt has only one overlapping front seam. The hem and sides are bound with bias silk organza binding. I used grosgrain ribbon for the belt. I haven’t used any pattern for the skirt but draped it on a form. I blogged about it on my blog:http://frabjous-fashion.blogspot.com/2011/02/finished-object-2-draped-flared-skirt.html
It’s a novel material, with a blend of synthetics and wool. Unfortunately I do not have precise information on this material, as it was in my stash for a while now.
