The Burda WOF pattern, 5/2008 #114. Look at http://www.burdafashion.com/en/Magazines/Archives/114_Dress/1270777-1463237-1616731-1616736-1616907.html for the original pattern. I had this fabric for few years, and didn’t have any idea what to make out of it, until I saw this dress in the magazine. It was a challenge to me, to see if I could make it. And guess what – I could :)! Cutting fabric took me 2 hours, since the pattern had so many pieces, and the fabric was very slippery. All in all, it took me a week to complete it, because I couldn’t get enough time to sew continuously (and I hate when I have to work that way!). Even without draped parts, the dress would look lovely. I recommend this pattern, and I think I’ll use it again.
Crepe viscose, shiffon for the lining

AnaJan, it’s just beautiful! I know this model and I have this pattern, I liked it from the first sight! I am deciding which fabric to use. I want it to be monotone or some gradient, though yours with flowers looks great too!

Thank you for posting this! I am considering that pattern for some time now, and I was afraid of the draping part. Your dress looks amazing and since you say your going to reuse the pattern, I’ll sew it for sure :) Thanks!
