The Office, Main...
I received Drape Drape 2 in the post this week and really really wanted to start on something immediately. (Look at Ichigogirls projects from the same book on here as well!) Because I didn’t have time to buy fabric I had to go through my supplies at home and decided to go for a combination of pattern no 8 and the silk/cotton fabric in the photos. No 8 is one of the few patterns that doesn’t call for stretch fabric, of which I didn’t have enough. I’m quite pleased with the effect now, otherwise I would have probably chosen a plain fabric for this pattern, as in the book, and the whole pattern wouldn’t have been my first choice to make in the first place. The only thing I might change is that I would go for the larger size next time – I measured the pattern before and thought it would be quite wide around the hips, but then I didn’t fully understand certain fold-over tricks on the pattern yet and the width turned out to be just enough. Well….
