This dress (5), size S from Drape Drape book one (by Hisako Sato), was sewn in red rayon jersey. The skirt is beautifully fun and swingy. The bodice and waistband are doubled however this was not enough to prevent stretching so I would recommend interfacing of some kind. I also omitted the zipper – it’s fairly unnecessary in a jersey dress. I found the dress a little too revealing for me and have worn it with a tank top. I am considering taking the bodice off and putting on something less racy but I’m not looking forward to unpicking it. (For ideas, this modification Meg made is great: http://megmadethis.blogspot.ca/2011/11/holiday-drape-dress.html)
